A Twitter clone Bluesky app making headlines on the internet nowadays, Bluesky is a public social network app such as Twitter, After a year in invite-only option for a year, The Bluesky app is now open to everyone who wants to create an account. The Bluesky received 800k users within two day and breaking 4 million total signups on Bluesky. It depends on users how they will use Bluesky app.

The Bluesky app, a Twitter clone has been recently launched, which is built on AT Protocol, now users can download the Bluesky app From Google Play, iOS or use Bluesky via Desktop. You can create an account by going to bsky.app (No invite code required anymore!). Users can create a handle by signing up, which is represented as @username.bsky.social and display name that appears more significant in bold font.

The Bluesky app’s functions similar to Twitter, where you can tap on a plus icon to create a post under 256 characters and also include photos. Posts can be retweeted, liked and replied from three dot menu icon as we do on X(Twitter).

You can view others updates in your timeline, if you search and follow for individual users. In the past the popular posts feature in a “What’s Hot” feed now renamed to “Discover” feed with more personalised than just trending content.  Bluesky does not yet have Direct Message service or some advanced feature like adding accounts to app like we can do on Twitter. 

The Bluesky app separated from Twitter in 2021, As we know the app was first launched in 2019 as a Twitter-backed side platform. Now the Bluesky app opens the door for new users, in the past the account could be created only through invitation.

As of now, no ads or sponsored post on Bluesky app, the post are public as the app aims to make social interactions between the users on platforms for everyone.
