Gmail for Android now has an unsubscribe button right to your face. Making it easier to stop unwanted emails from senders. It makes easier for users to get rid mass unwanted emails that fill up inbox instantly.
Gmail introduces an unsubscribe button to stop bulk senders
Have you got stuck with large numbers of unwanted emails from senders in Gmail app. Well, here is a good news for Gmail users because the problem is solved now Gmail has offered a new way to Unsubscribe from unwanted emails in Gmail for Android. Finding the old way was tough to stop emails from senders.
Most of the people have signed up for newsletters, promotions, or deals that can soon fill up our inboxes. The unsubscribe button is more convenient way to avoid huge unwanted emails that fills inbox faster.
Gmail is finally rolling out a very useful upgrade that offers a faster and more efficient way of stopping unwanted emails filling up your inbox. As spotted by the team at Android Police, a new unsubscribe button has started rolling out to some users and it was seen in Google Pixel 8pro version 2023.11.26. However, they couldn’t get it working on an Honor phone. We tried it on a Pixel Fold running the same 2023.11.26 version, but didn’t see the unsubscribe button yet.
As seen in this screenshot, The new unsubscribe button is fix right at the top of emails in Gmail. The unsubscribe button has been appeared in Gmail app for Android. Now it is easy to unsubscribe unwanted bulk emails from senders. It depends on the publisher how it want to implemented this button directly unsubscribe or users have to visit the website to unsubscribe as you saw in above images.
The unsubscribe button is not available for everyone yet, if you don’t see the unsubscribe button yet you can use the old way to unsubscribe which is head to the top of the right menu hamburger icon in the app bar and click the Unsubscribe option in it. The unsubscribe button is available on both Gmail for the Android and for Web.
Google already made unsubscribe button available in December last year for the Web users. As you can see in this screenshot the unsubscribe button feature a Blue font making it clear visible in the header but it was written in the gray font and smaller in the past. The gray font was hard to spot the unsubscribe button, Now it is more convenient to find it.
Finally we know that Gmail is rolling out the unsubscribe button and more accessible to everyone. Check when the unsubscribe button is available on your Gmail Android app. You might have to wait a bit before seeing the new unsubscribe button on your Android phone.
