WhatsApp latest feature gives you the power to take control of your suspicious contacts by offering a convenient blocking feature directly from your lock screen. No more opening the WhatsApp application, navigating your inbox or wasting time on unwanted contacts just block it directly from your lock screen.
This feature is important because online scams have increased in recent months, thousands of users reported losing a lot of money after receiving messages and calls from suspicious contacts. Bad actors always target WhatsApp users for phishing because WhatsApp is the primary messenger for most of the people nowadays.
Now you will not have to open the unwanted chats to block the contact as you were used to doing with the old way. Now it is easy to block unwanted contacts directly from your lock screen. WhatsApp is adding more layers for protection to prevent bad actors.
