You can send images in their original quality using the WhatsApp Desktop App | Android Self
WhatsApp is developing a new feature that will allow users to share images at their original resolution and quality. This new function will be viewed as an important update that will strongly improve the user experience while sharing images in a future update of WhatsApp Desktop beta!
As shown in this screenshot, WhatsApp is also working on adding the same feature to the desktop app. Users will be able to send images in their original quality, keeping resolution and clarity. This is a significant improvement over the present image compression used when sending images. People won’t have to worry about their images losing quality or resolution when they’re shared.

Even with the addition of this function, you will keep control over sending images. When this function becomes ready to beta testers, users will be able to send images using the regular compression method, which is helpful for users who want to save storage space and is always the default choice.
The option to send images at their original quality is in development and will be available in a future app update. As always, we’ll write an additional article when we have more information to share with you.
