WhatsApp is now working on to record video messages

WhatsApp has become an important element of our everyday lives in the age of instant communications. The app’s features are always being updated to improve the user experience. WhatsApp is about to launch a new feature that will allow users to capture video messaging. This post will go through the new function and its advantages.

Advantages of Video Messages on WhatsApp

Video messages provide a number of advantages over text ones. Here are some advantages:

Expressive

Text communications are less expressive than video messages. They allow users to communicate emotions and facial expressions that text messages may not allow.

Time-Saving

Video messaging may save time, especially when explaining difficult ideas or concepts. Instead of typing out a long text message, record a video clip to better explain it.

Convenience

Video messages are handy since they may be delivered while you are engaged in other activities. You may record a video message while on the go, making communication easier.

WhatsApp’s Video Messaging Future

The added feature is meant to improve the WhatsApp user experience. Users may better express themselves, save time, and communicate better using video messages. Businesses that wish to provide better customer service and boost consumer engagement would benefit from this feature as well.

As shown n this screenshot, WhatsApp is now working on to record video messages, which will be circular in shape to differentiate them from regular videos. This component is probably not yet finished because it is still in development which explains why we get a strange white backdrop view, but we can preview how the UI will appear for the recording of a video message.

A video message differs from a video in that a video message is captured and delivered in real-time, whereas a video may be pre-recorded and kept before being sent later. When a video message is sent, the recipient may see that it has been recorded, making it feel more personal and relevant. Recording a video message helps verify the video’s legitimacy.

It should be noted that video messages will be end-to-end encrypted, which means that only the receivers will be able to view them, not WhatsApp. It is going to be available to record video messages for up to 60 seconds. Users cannot store or forward video messages, however, they may be recorded using screen recording because the video is not delivered while using the view once option.

The option for sending video messages is in progress and will be included in a future WhatsApp version. As always, we want to keep you informed by publishing an extra post on this website whenever we have more information on this feature.

Businesses may profit from this functionality as well since it allows them to deliver personalised communications and provide better customer service. The future of video chatting on WhatsApp is bright, and we can expect more enhancements that will make communication even more effective.
