Android Self team discovered on the WABetaInfo blog post that WhatsApp is working on a new interface for the status updates tab. WhatsApp always wants to keep its app updated through new features. Almost every month WhatsApp releases a new feature for users to stay updated on their app. WhatsApp is not the only one in the race, many applications providing features such as Recently Google Messages Introduced new features including Screen Effects and more.
WhatsApp to work on a new interface for Status Updates which is WhatsApp rolled out a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, It is good for users to keep updated on trending features. The company always wants to take the user’s attention to stay updated on WhatsApp through new features. There are many more to come over weeks and months.
WhatsApp Says, WhatsApp aimed to provide users with a more familiar experience by aligning the channels list with the current interface found in the chats tab. The company seems to have extra plans to enhance the user interface for status updates by implementing some features.
As we can see in this screenshot above a new interface feature for status updates is under development so it’s not ready for beta testers yet, when it will be available to test we will let you know. A new update will allow users to try a newly designed interface for the status updates tray in the future.
The option is still fixed at the top of the updates tab, making it more easier and visible as soon as users open this tab on WhatsApp. However, the new interface allows users to get a preview of the first shared status update by its thumbnail, then don’t need to open each update individually. In the past, many users were frustrated with the new horizontal layout shift for status updates, which replaced the easiest way to view the status on the profile picture as a green circle.
