WhatsApp introduced a feature to keep messages from disappearing

If you are like many others, you’ve undoubtedly been frustrated by essential WhatsApp messages disappearing after a specific period of time. Deleting these texts may be inconvenient, whether it’s critical professional communication or an emotional talk with a loved one deleting these texts may be quite inconvenient. However, due to a new WhatsApp feature, no worrying about missing essential messages again because WhatsApp introduced a feature to keep messages from disappearing.

The function allows beta users to block certain messages from deleting, which is handy for keeping track of essential messages. Despite the fact that the function is provided in chat details, a lot of people were unable to prevent messages from deleting. Fortunately, the current WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.8.3 version, which is now available on the Google Play Store, includes this capability by making the bookmark option available within the conversation header:

As shown in this screenshot, by clicking the bookmark sign, anybody may now keep a disappearing message from disappearing. Similarly, if someone wishes to make a fading message disappear again, they may choose the “unkeep” sign, and the message will disappear forever, with no option for anybody else to keep it from disappearing again.

The option that keeps messages from deleting might be important when chat participants must go back to a text later. Furthermore, users retain control over their disappearing texts: if another person kept your chats from disappearing and you still want them to disappear just select the “upkeep” option to make them disappear again. After you do this, no one will be able to access the “keep” option on the messages again.
