WhatsApp is rolling out a new UI When loading a link preview
WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging applications in the world, The instant messaging application is constantly releasing new versions and enhanced features to improve the user experience. WhatsApp just announced that it is introducing a new user inter when loading a link preview. This new user interface is intended to make it simpler for users to see what type of material they are clicking on while also giving them greater flexibility over how they engage with that stuff.
WhatsApp has recently submitted a new update via the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version number up to 23.6.0.71. The WhatsApp Settings version is 2.23.6.71, and the TestFlight build is 23.6.0. (458060608). What’s new in this version? WhatsApp is rolling out a new UI when loading a link preview, which is now ready for some beta testers.
One of the most notable changes in the new UI is that link previews will now show a thumbnail image of the item to which the link is directed. This means that when people click on a link, they may see what sort of information they will be taken to without having to read the complete URL or depend just on the text of the message.
The new link preview Interface provides a title and a brief description of the material being linked to in addition to the thumbnail image. This data comes from the website or app being linked to and is intended to provide users with a better understanding of the type of material they may expect to find there.
The new Interface gives users greater flexibility over how they engage with connected material, which is one of its most important features. For example, a user wants to open a link in a new browser tab simply from the link preview. Similarly, if a user wishes to copy the link to send it to someone else, they can do so immediately from the preview without first going to the website or app.
As shown in this screenshot, When a link is inserted into WhatsApp, a new row appears above the chat bar, and the app animates the row while loading the link preview. Before, users had no way of knowing whether WhatsApp was loading the preview or not, which caused confusion and lost time while users waited for the preview to appear. But, owing to the enhanced link preview interface, WhatsApp now indicates when the preview is loading and when it is accessible, so users no longer have to wait for the preview to load if it is not available.
Overall, the new link preview Interface is a great improvement over the previous version, which frequently left users confused about what they were clicking on or how to interact with that information once they arrived. WhatsApp is making it simpler than ever for its users to share and engage with content on the platform by including more info and giving them more control.
The new UI when loading a link preview is now available to some beta testers who install the current version of WhatsApp beta for iOS through the TestFlight app, and it will be made available to even more users in the coming days.
